My thesis topic revolves around the prevalence of spiritual mysticism in modern Indonesia. Indonesia’s commitment to modernize itself has degraded those who are actively involved in mysticism, leading them to become social pariahs and in turn they are often forgotten, feared or ridiculed. My goal for thesis is to encourage a discussion regarding those involved spiritual mysticism in order to bring back cultural awareness, and hopefully promote tolerance towards minor religious communities in the long run.
My solution is to create a network of five museums under one cohesive brand that is inspired by patterns found in Indonesian art from all over the archipelago. The museum, named ISAN (Institute of Spiritual Arts in the Nusantara) is a take on the old Javanese word 'isun' which means 'myself', emphasizing the fact that spiritualism is a personal journey that knows no limits. The museums would exhibit artifacts with spiritual significance from different parts of Indonesia.

I'm a fan of Muse and this self-initiated experiment is a typographic take on their fifth studio album, 'The Resistance'. For this experiment, I wanted to investigate how dingbat fonts can be used as a form of communication. The secondary typeface that I used for this project is Akzidenz-Grotesk.
Cadillac’s point of interest has always been its role as a pioneer in the American automobile industry from the early twentieth century. I was inspired by the movement of racing flags and patterns that can be found in racing tracks to create a new identity for Cadillac.
This project is a re-design of Grenada Chocolate Company's packaging. I was inspired by different sceneries in the island, which plays a significant role in the taste of the chocolate bar themselves. I took two colors from each scenery and associated them to the different flavors offered by the company.

This project is one of two experiments that led up to my thesis (click here to view my thesis project). This experiment is a concept for a campaign that would support tolerance towards spiritual mysticism to dispel discrimination and educate the general public. It comes in the form of posters and booklets that can be used to promote an event as well as briefly educate people regarding the basic terms that will be discussed in the exhibition.
